If your child is passionate about LEGO, then they are in the perfect place to begin an incredible journey with FIRST LEGO League Explore. This season, themed Unearthed, our team will embark on an exciting adventure into the world of archaeology, discovering the art and science of how we uncover the past. FLL Explore is a non-competitive, hands-on program where students work in small teams to research a real-world topic and then design, build, and code a motorized LEGO model to demonstrate what they’ve learned.
More than just building, your child will develop crucial skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and introductory coding, all while boosting their confidence and curiosity for STEM. Think of FLL Explore as the perfect stepping stone; it introduces the core principles of research, teamwork, and engineering that are foundational to the more advanced FIRST LEGO League Challenge program. By learning these fundamentals now in a fun and supportive environment, our students will be exceptionally well-prepared to take on the complexities of designing autonomous robots and conducting in-depth research projects in future competitions.
At the end of the season, all teams will attend a half-day festival in May to share what they learned and explain their LEGO team model to FLL reviewers. It will be a grand finale to celebrate their achievements!
