Following our success in the FIRST LEGO League, we are SUPER excited to participate in another international robotics league called World Robotics Olympiad (WRO) in winter/spring 2026!
For students who are passionate about robotics, the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) offers the perfect international stage to elevate their skills from a hobby into a mastery. Building on the foundational programs like FIRST LEGO League, WRO introduces a thrilling new level of challenge that pushes students to think like true engineers.
In the RoboMission category, students not just running a pre-built robot, but assembling it from scratch against the clock and adapting its programming on the spot to solve a surprise challenge revealed on competition day. Furthermore, in the Future Innovators category, WRO empowers young minds to tackle real-world problems with creative robotic solutions, fostering critical design thinking and allowing the use of diverse materials beyond LEGO for prototyping, cultivating a truly innovative and entrepreneurial spirit.
WRO's focus on deep understanding, creative problem-solving, and student autonomy is what sets it apart, providing an unparalleled opportunity for the students to innovate, compete with peers from over 90 countries, and build the resilience and advanced STEM skills essential for their future success.
Starting in February 2026, our new WRO teams will meet weekly on Saturday afternoons in our Stouffville location and will attend a FULL DAY (8-hours) regional competition (in GTA) in May. Please see below for details:
